GCSE Results 2019-20

Yet again this year, the results of the Ysgol Bro Hyddgen year 11 pupils across all levels of ability reflect their fabulous progress at the school. Mr Dafydd Jones, the Headteacher is very happy to be congratulating pupils on their praiseworthy achievements:   “The cohort as a whole produced excellent results and I’m very proud to see the pupils fulfilling their potential.  This year there was an outstanding 100% pass rate in all subjects; the pupils have worked very hard over the past two years towards achieving these results.  I would like to thank the teachers and other staff who have taught and supported the pupils so effectively, and parents have also been central to the success achieved on this occasion by supporting mentoring initiatives which are in place at the school.  Most of the students from this cohort will now be returning to Ysgol Bro Hyddgen to study A levels and equivalent vocational courses, and will be aiming to achieve further success in two years’ time.  The school is also very pleased to be welcoming a significant number of new students to the Sixth Form in September from other areas beyond the school’s catchment area”.
