Year 13 Mock Interviews

On Friday, March 22nd, over 20 professionals from various occupational backgrounds ventured to Bro Hyddgen from around the country to ask our year 13 some challenging questions as part of their mock interviews. Before stepping out to the ‘real world’ we like to think that our students leave the sixth form with successful qualifications and also valuable skills, including interview skills. Many of us can relate to that nerve-racking feeling of stepping into the interview room, sweat dripping and heart pumping as we spit confusing answers from very dry mouths! During this day, I was pleased to see our students growing in confidence as the day went on. We as a school are very grateful to all the volunteers for their time and expertise. It is more than likely that the next interview will be in the ‘real world’; therefore, relax, you’re experts by now!
