Croeso i Ysgol Bro Hyddgen | Welcome to Ysgol Bro Hyddgen
Mae’n ofynnol i ysgolion gael polisi Iechyd a Diogelwch, sy’n benodol ar gyfer eu sefydliad, ar gyfer pob ymwelydd â’u hysgol. Pan fyddwch yn ymweld â’r ysgol byddwch yn derbyn taflen sy’n amlinellu’r gweithdrefnau Iechyd a Diogelwch a Diogelu allweddol y dylech fod yn ymwybodol ohonynt yn ystod eich ymweliad yma.
Yn gyntaf, gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod wedi arwyddo i mewn yn y dderbynfa a’ch bod yn gwisgo cerdyn adnabod clir.
Schools are required to have a Health & Safety policy, specific for their setting, for all visitors to their school. When visiting you will receive a leaflet that outlines the key Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures you should be aware of during your visit at the school.
Firstly, please ensure that you have signed in at reception and are wearing a clear identification lanyard.

Diogelu
Mae pawb yn gyfrifol am ddiogelu pobl ifanc yn yr ysgol hon
Os ydych yn amau bod unrhyw blentyn yn destun pryder, neu’n clywed neu’n gweld unrhyw beth sy’n achosi i chi boeni am les plentyn, eich cyfrifoldeb cyfreithiol chi yw rhoi gwybod i’r person diogelu dynodedig.
Datgeliad gan blentyn
Gwrando ar yr hyn sy’n cael ei ddweud heb ddangos sioc nac anghrediniaeth
Gadewch i’r plentyn siarad yn rhydd
Cysuro’r plentyn ond peidiwch â gwneud addewidion
Peidiwch ag addo cyfrinachedd – eglurwch i’r plentyn y bydd angen i chi hysbysu’r person priodol
Pwysleisiwch ei fod yn iawn i ddweud
Cofnodwch unrhyw fanylion ar ‘My Concern’ neu rhowch eich cofnod ysgrifenedig i’r person diogelu dynodedig. Cofnodwch union eiriau’r plentyn
Peidiwch ag ymchwilio eich hun
Safeguarding
Everyone is responsible for safeguarding of young people in this school
If you suspect that any child is a cause for concern, or hear or see anything that causes you to be concerned about the welfare of a child, it is your legal responsibility to report is to the designated safeguarding person
Disclosure from a child
Listen to what is being said without displaying shock or disbelief
Allow the child to talk freely
Reassure the child but do not make promises
Do not promise confidentiality—explain to the child that you will need to inform the appropriate person
Stress that it was right to tell
Record any details on My Concern or give your written record to the designated safeguarding person. Record exactly in the child’s own words
Do not investigate yourself
